Jesus' presence is extended into the world as community. That is why we understand church not as institution,
building, or something to attend, but as a people in a particular place following Jesus together.
It is why love is both the means and goal of church. Maturity is measured by the quality of our relationships.
House churches are our centers of community at Epic. These are intentional spaces to be together in the Spirit, to share meals, conversation, prayer, and learn to walk with others as a community. The fruit of this commitment is greater depth of relationship and a sense of family.
Though our house churches are as diverse as the people in them, you can expect the above practices in many of our communities.
